Yes - first fix before units, second fix after worktops. We slot into your fitter’s schedule routinely.
Can you fit a boiling-water tap?
Yes - supply, filter and tank installed per the manufacturer’s spec, with isolation for servicing.
The sink smells - is that plumbing?
Usually a trap or waste-run fault; occasionally venting. Fixable in one visit either way.
